Yang Huang

Yang Huang is both a successful writer and a computer engineer. Raised in China, Yang Huang moved to the United States for college. She earned a degree in computer science, and later her MFA from the University of Arizona. Her first novel, Living Treasures, was published in 2014. The book about China’s one-child policy was awarded the Silver Nautilus Book Award, a gold medal for the Next Generation Indie Books Awards, and a bronze medal for the Living Now Books Awards. Her work has been published in Poets & Writers, Literary Hub, The Margins, Eleven Eleven, Asian Pacific American Journal, The Evansville Review, Futures, Porcupine Literary Arts Magazine, Nuvein, and Stories for Film. Her latest book is the short story collection My Old Faithful.
