Molly Booth

If there is one thing you should know about Molly Booth, it is that she really likes Shakespeare. The various work of this young adult novelist, theater director, and podcaster all has to do with the Bard. In her first book, Saving Hamlet (2016), Emma Allen unwittingly time travels from her high school to 1601 London and the Globe Theatre, passes as a boy, and joins the original cast of Hamlet. Booth cohosts the podcast Party Bard with Jack Rossiter-Munley and directs a theater  group for teens, all while pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Her latest novel is Nothing Happened, a queer retelling of Much Ado About Nothing set in a modern theater camp. Both the Barnes and Noble Teen Blog and Hypable listed Nothing Happened as the most highly anticipated queer YA book of 2018. Molly Booth is a Hufflepuff.
