Ken Daley

Ken Daley is a dedicated artist whose work draws heavily from his African Caribbean roots. Daley grew up in Canada and earned his degree in architectural technology from Humber College in Toronto. He also has an honorary degree from the Art Centre of Central Technical School. His work has been featured in several publications and illustrated books, including Joseph’s Big Ride by Terry Farish. Joseph’s Big Ride was a Skipping Stones Honor Book and won a Silver Foreword Indies Book Award, among other honors. He is also the illustrator of Auntie Luce’s Talking Paintings by Francie Latour. In a starred review, Kirkus writes that "Daley’s richly saturated acrylic-on–illustration board paintings convey some of the complexities of time and place." His work has been exhibited in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
