Jenn Abelson

Jenn Abelson is an award-winning investigative journalist for the Boston Globe. A graduate of Cornell, she joined the staff of the Globe in 2001. She has uncovered and reported on several major cases of fraud and abuse, such as sexual assault at prep schools in New England, sexual harassment at ESPN, the widespread mislabeling of fish in the restaurant industry in a series called “Fishy Business,” and doctors secretly performing two surgeries at the same time. In 2012, she was a finalist for the Livingston Award for journalists under thirty-five, and in 2015, her series “Shadow Campus” was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. She coauthored I Have the Right To: A High School Survivor's Story of Sexual Assault, Justice, and Hope with Chessy Prout, who was a survivor of sexual assault in a New Hampshire prep school.
