Francie Latour

Francie Latour is a children’s book author, journalist, and advocate for diversity and disadvantaged children. Since 2012, she has served as the coordinator of the Broad Diversity Initiative at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She is also the codirector and cofounder of Wee the People (WTP), a social justice program for children aged 4–12 to foster activism and resistance in Boston. Latour is a contributor to the Boston Globe and The Root. Her first children’s book is Auntie Luce’s Talking Paintings.
