Erica Funkhouser

Erica Funkhouser is an award-winning poet and educator. Educated at Vassar and Stanford, Funkhouser published her first poetry collection, Natural Affinities, in 1983. She has also published Sure Shot and Other Poems (1992), Pursuit (2002), Earthly (2008). Her work has appeared in the Harvard Review, the Massachusetts Review, the New Yorker, The Atlantic, Ploughshares, and the Paris Review, and she has appeared in a Ken Burns documentary on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Funkhouser was named a Literary Light by the Boston Public Library in 2002 and was awarded a Guggenheim grant in 2007. She currently teaches poetry writing at MIT. Her latest collection is titled Post & Rail.
