Eric David Dawson

Eric David Dawson is the CEO and cofounder of Peace First, a nonprofit that teaches young people to become peacemakers. The organization started as a student-run program at Harvard, and Dawson has been part of it since the beginning. He started his career running a summer camp in Boston public housing and organizing for disability awareness. He earned his BA from Harvard University, his EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and his MDiv from Harvard Divinity School. He has earned the National Point of Light Award and has been an Ashoka fellow, an Echoing Green fellow, and a Pop!Tech Social Innovation fellow. Dawson is the author of Putting Peace First: 7 Commitments to Change the World.
