Camille DeAngelis

Camille DeAngelis is a writer of the fantastic and unusual. Her 2015 young adult novel about teenage cannibals, Bones and All, won the Alex Award in 2016. She is also the author of Immaculate Heart (2016); Petty Magic: Being the Memoirs and Confessions of Miss Evelyn Harbinger, Temptress and Troublemaker (2010); and Mary Modern (2007), about a woman who, when she can’t conceive a child, clones her own grandmother. DeAngelis is also the author of the short story “The Coroner’s Bride.” Her latest novel, and her middle grade debut, is The Boy from Tomorrow. She has also written a number of nonfiction books, including the creativity guide Life Without Envy: Ego Management for Creative People (2016). DeAngelis is also a board member of the Writers Room Boston and a certified vegan lifestyle coach.
